I want to thank you and your staff for the tremendous service you provided on June 25th of this year.  I was in my office in Chicago when I was called to a meeting in Mundelein.  I needed to pick up samples in Schaumburg but did not have enough time so I called Intercept to meet me at my customer at 11:00 AM.  Then it happened, a thunderstorm of biblical proportions.  Despite the weather, the courier was waiting for me when I arrived.

I want to let you know that one of your messengers went above and beyond the call of duty this morning in an effort to get a package to Mary on time.  Because of the Chicago Marathon, most of the streets surrounding our building are closed.  The only way your messenger was able to get to the building was to park at Halsted and walk –he even had to join the marathon at one point in order to run across the street!  In any event, even with all these obstacles thrown in his way, he was able to make the delivery on Mary on time.  Please let him know how much we appreciate his efforts.

After using your services for the delivery of awards to a downtown hotel, for a client of mine, the shipment was lost internally by the hotel’s staff.  In the hours and moments leading up to an award ceremony, my client became understandably irrational, accusatory and entirely unprofessional – erroneously laying the lion’s share of their anger on your staff.  Not only was your staff patient and accommodating in the face of this irrationality- but every member of your team operated above and beyond their roles to assist the hotel staff in locating the packages in time for the award ceremony. 

In more than ten years of troubleshooting seemingly impossible situations involving multiple vendors, your company stands out, and in my opinion – is the example to follow in professionalism and superior customer service.

I want to commend your staff for the excellent customer service they provided me yesterday.  I use your services on a regular basis so it is good to know that Intecept is on top of things.  When I realized that I had given the wrong address for the Hyatt Corp, I called your office right away.  I was pleased that your reception addressed the issue immediately.  By then the package had already been delivered.  Fortunately, you had your most experienced courier on the job, Neal Jamison.  He saw the wrong address on the label and took it upon himself to bring the package to the correct location.  This act saved everyone the headache of retrieving it from an incorrect location and re-delivering.  Please make sure you recognize Neal for his efforts!   I am happy to be an Intercept client.
